In this session, Paul Miller, multi-million dollar seller, and licensee/licensor introduce the concepts of licensing as a means to grow and differentiate your products on Amazon and beyond. We will address the common challenges faced by Amazon sellers and explain how licensing helps to solve those problems (including a case study). We’ll discuss the basic terms of licensing, the obligations of the licensee as well as the rigorous development cycle and financial commitments required. By the end of the session, the student should have a basic understanding of how licensing works and whether or not they should consider licensing as a growth strategy.
