Chris has worked within the Amazon ecosystem for 12 years and has been there through a huge shift in consumer demand to online shopping. Setting up a UK 1P vendor account from scratch for his employer back over a decade ago provided an opportunity to learn all the fundamentals of Amazon, be it PDPs, logistics, labelling, commercials, deal events and Amazon advertising. As well as getting top sellers in various subcategories of Lawn and Garden, he spearheaded the international expansion into Europe and the US, alongside setting up a 3P business in the UK.
Chris then moved into the Health and Personal Care space, achieving best seller status in the Probiotics subcategory in the UK, leading strong growth in the US and expanding into the then newly-launched Australian Amazon marketplace, reaching number 1 there too. More recently, he has been working for Big Potato Games, an independent board games company. Achieving the number 1 product in the UK in Toys and Games during the Black Friday through to Christmas period for two consecutive years has been a particular high point, plus top ten ASINs in Canada, Germany and the US. He also led Big Potato’s expansion into Canada, UAE and Singapore and has been featured in a promotional video by Amazon for the Amazon Selling Partner 360 program in the UK.
