Biography
Derek has >25 years of experience as a technology evangelist, systems architect, and data systems engineer. At Silk, he is responsible for leading the customer-facing architect teams, developing product roadmap and is the primary technical evangelist in the organization working with the CMO and CEO on product-market positioning and direction. Prior to Silk Derek has had a successful career in architecting, deploying and operating enterprise class network, compute and storage solutions in Tier 3 and 4 datacenters.
He holds a Bachelors in Political Science and Government from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis on classical philosophy.
