Jason Wyatt

Jason Wyatt is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Marketplacer, a global digital platform which both operates, owns and provides software and support to create and run all types of online Marketplaces, from products and services through to events, travel bookings and digital downloads.

In 2007, alongside childhood friend, Sam Salter, Jason founded the online marketplace BikeExchange and in just a few short years the business evolved from humble beginnings into a significant global success story, operating in nine global markets with millions of buyers and sellers transacting across the platform every year. Overseeing this rapid expansion has meant that Jason has led the Marketplacer business into a powerful and clear position as one of the world’s leading Marketplace software platforms.

Throughout this expansion process, Jason used his extensive business and strategic acumen to partner individual business founders with great external talent and strong commercial and strategic plans.

Jason was the major strategic driver behind Marketplacer’s several rounds of investor funding; setting the agenda and direction for one of Australia’s biggest funding rounds for a domestic software and technology company.

Jason has become one of Australia’s most prominent voices on not only the strategy and implementation of digital marketplaces, but also of the larger technology and entrepreneurial industries. Jason has positioned himself as one of Australia’s key thought leaders in the rapidly expanding online marketplace and omnichannel environment.
