Lakshmi Nidamarthi

Lakshmi Nidamarthi is the Director of Product Development for Seller Services, FBA. In her current role, she leads both the new/emerging business lines and fulfillment innovation. Lakshmi is an Amazon veteran with broad experience in managing technology, product, program, design, and operations teams. She has been part of many firsts at Amazon, including the evolution of 3P business, conceiving and launching several products in Seller Performance Management and Customer Guarantee systems.

Her notable accomplishments include starting a remote development center for Amazon in Chennai (India), helping launch the first Kindle, and kick-starting Amazon’s Sustainability program - which resulted in the launch of Frustration Free Packaging and developing global standards for e-commerce packaging. She still believes it is Day 1 at Amazon and loves building innovative products using technology. She holds several patents for Amazon ranging from product design to packaging certifications. Lakshmi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Masters in Artificial Intelligence (AI). She is married and a proud mother of 2 boys.
