I've worked at newspapers throughout the country and I've covered just about everything, from politics and the environment to business and crime. I've also enjoyed the challenge of making the transition from daily deadlines to a 24-hour news cycle. I hope to help find a sustainable business model for quality journalism.

Specialties: I am a resourceful, versatile newsman who can report and write stories, edit copy and shoot video. I enjoy combing through documents in a courthouse basement looking for hidden nuggets, trudging through rain and snow to bang on doors in search of snippets for a breaking story, or burning midnight oil on the editing slot to make sure copy on the website and in the paper sizzles. I am also not afraid to try new things and fall on my face.
