Stephanie Inge

Stephanie is a native Texan who grew up in Austin and moved to Dallas in 1974. Garage sales, estate sales and treasure hunting has been her passion since age 17 and when she discovered eBay in 1998, she turned that passion into a career. Fast forward to 2002 when she was laid off from corporate America, which inspired her to invent a whole new career, America’s first collegiate eBay instructor. In 2004, she became certified by eBay as an eBay Education Specialist, taught the advanced classes for eBay University and has traveled across the country teaching others how to become successful eBay sellers. Current college classes include Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Poshmark.
Stephanie has always been a trailblazer and extrovert and her need to connect inspired her to create the original eBay seller group in January 2002, The Dallas eBaybes and eMales (450+ members). Seven years later, she founded, DFW Social Media Marketing Group (2,200 members). She is also the organizer for the annual Sea Commerce Cruise, an at sea eCommerce conference held each February.
She was is a co-author of Home Run Guide: Take the Experts With You and published Meetup Organizer Step-by-Step Success Guide in October 2015. Other accolades include being appointed as Texas state representative for the annual United States of eBay Fly-In held in Washington, DC, where she lobbied Senate and Congressional leaders on Capitol Hill in 2006 and 2013. She has been featured numerous times on local television, newspapers and interviewed for several eBay publications.
