He held his first paid job at age 5 watering dozens of trees for his grandparents, and started driving a tractor at age 9. A graduate of BYU, he started his first company as a sophomore in college, and he has worked in small entrepreneurial companies for most of his career, with an 8-year stint as the business manager of a law firm.
