Biography
Tim Brown is the Cross Border Marketplaces Manager in Australia Post’s Parcels Services business. In this role Tim is responsible for developing and growing strategic relationships with international eCommerce providers and marketplaces.
Tim’s executive management career spans more than a decade across a range of industries including logistics, technology, business and sales operations. More recently he has spent his career developing and commercialising sophisticated and highly efficient supply chains to facilitate trade between international customers.
After gathering a wealth of knowledge through living in China for over 2 years, Tim opened his own private practice and built up a portfolio of related businesses, including a proprietary B2C eCommerce platforms. Under the consultancy arm of his business he worked closely with leading clients to develop their internationally focused sales teams, which saw him implementing agile solutions for their business in China. Furthermore Tim maintains a strong relationship with Alibaba, featuring in their online videos and assisting with buyer workshops through South East Asia and in Australia.
